Any Man running after Jesus needs this wake up. My problems are nothing/gone when I put them at the feet of Jesus. To see the desire to serve God from my brothers from Uganda to Grand Rapids to even Alamo makes me realize The 1 and only Church is Alive and I have a big responsibility to help Strong Godly Men Forcefully advance God's Kingdom here Today.
You cannot find a men's focused message like this at your Sunday morning service. The momentum built as the weekend progressed. George and the crew lead us in an awesome worship experience. Best of all, there was TRUE FELLOWSHIP with sincere testimony. GOD had a serious presence here this weekend. Blessings and thanks to all of the brothers.
I went to Timber Wolf Lake to get a break from all of the busyness and mundaneness of this life and to have some fun. God SATURATED every part of this event with His presence. I have never felt the hand of God move in my life so dramatically. I came away from this event overflowing with the spirit of God. Yes, I did get the break I was looking for and received SO MUCH MORE - I received new and real joy in my walk with God!
Our small group discussions in our lodge were awsome! I have had two people call me to be their accountability person for XXXchurhes program and I know where our guys stand for the Lord now. I am now praying with my wife every day: Morning, Dinner, & @ Night. Wow what a difference it has made in just three days! I will be back with more people next year.
Are there any words to describe the overall feeling of this event? Easily, the answer is NO. But, AWESOME is a good way to start. God knew what he was doing when he sent the group that he sent. He sent every member of the body that he needed to be there this past weekend. Without question, he was at the helm. He even took over the cooking! Now the onus is on us to stay together.
AMEN! I could not have said it better if I tried!!!!! It was a AWESOME pleasure meeting those of you I did not know, and RECONNECTING with those of you I did! Don't keep us waiting too long for the preregistration for next year...please!
WOW! What a weekend. Speaking for myself, this was not only a fun time, it was challenging and will have an immeasurable impact for years to come. I know Jason, Perry and I talked the whole way home and at lunch about the things we had learned and how to implement them in our lives as we walk together as brothers.
I thank God for the friendships made and look forward to getting to know some of those guys better over the coming weeks and months. I'm already looking forward to next year's edition...and bringing a bunch of guys with us!
It would be wrong not to acknowledge all the hard work that went into pulling this thing off. Mark, I know they call you "Easy Living", but I saw a side of you I'd not had the privilege of seeing before. You're the man. Thanks so much for all you did. Same goes for all the guys who were there in the kitchen with you...your boys, Q, Eric, Steve and others. May you be greatly blessed for the servant's hearts you displayed.

Mike, Jerry, Joe and Pastor Stedford, thank you for bringing the Word in power and being empty vessels...filled with the Spirit and poured out for our benefit and Christ's glory.

Thanks for the wonderful event this pass weekend. I saw God’s power in many different ways which is a testimony and blessing for all of us. Please keep me update with any/all development for next year’s event. I would like to promote this retreat to men at TCC and others that need help with bearing their Cross. Lastly, please let me know if any help is needed for the 2008 Men’s Retreat.
